Meet and greet at Cape Town International Airport and Panoramic Tourr of the Victoria Scenic Drive
We will pick you up from Cape Town International Airport and we will take you on one of the most scenic routs, that stretches along the Atlantic coast from Sea Point and Bantry’s Bay to Clifton, Camps Bay, the 12 Apostles and Hout Bay. You will be able to admire the spectacular unique road which in some places is blasted into the rock revealing staggering views of the Atlantic ocean. Along the way we will stop for a late lunch before arriving at the hotel and checking in. For your first two nights, you will stay in a luxury boutique hotel, charming and impressive with its colonial architecture. The exterior facade and courtyard give you the feeling of stepping into a romantic bygone era. You will have time to freshen up and relax after the long flight to South Africa and then have dinner at the hotel around 19:30 (dinner not included).
Explore Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, Visit Boulders Beach Penguin Colony and Scratch for Semi-Precious Stones
Breakfast at 8:00, Then we will travel to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and visit the most southwestern tip of the African continent, see the Cape Mountain Zebra and Baboons and will experience a breath taking view of Atlantic Ocean. We will have lunch with a spectacular view around 12:30 (lunch not included). After lunch we will visit Simons Town and meet up close and personal the penguins at Boulders Beachthen go hunting for semi-precious stones. You will fill a cup with semi-precious stones and visit the Mineral World Rock Shop. You will then return to the hotel. Dinner around 19:00 (dinner not included).
Visit Table Mountain, Lunch at the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, Brandy Tour and Brandy and Chocolate Pairing
Breakfast at 8:00 and check out of the hotel. We will then clime on top of Table Mountain, followed by lunch at have lunch at Victoria and Alfred Waterfront to enjoy exquisite South-African sea food (Lunch not included). We will then go for a Brandy tour for you to learn about the “Angels’ Share” and some interesting secrets of the age-old art of creating a fine brandy, and taste some of the best brandy in the world. We will then travel to wine estate, where we will spend the next two nights.
You will stay in a historic Wine Estate with original Cape Dutch Architecture, with beautifully preserved gables of the Manor House, the uneven floors made of hand-formed clay tiles, traditional window frames dating back to 1795. Old world charm thoughtfully and tastefully combined with the all modern amenities for a romantic stay. Dinner around 19:30h
Experience a Tour on the World Famous Franschhoek Wine Tram
Breakfast at 8:00. We will then travel to Franschhek and board on the world famous Franschhoek Wine Tram for a unique Curated Wine Experience with an experienced wine expert. You will visit three famous wine estates. You will have a three-course lunch at a top wine estate restaurant. Before we head out for dinner, you will enjoy a premium wine tasting and pariring. We will then return to our accommodation to freshen up. Dinner around 19:00
Discover the mesmerising beauty of the Klein Karoo by following Route 62- the world’s longest wine road to Oudtshoorn- the ostrich capital of the world and visit Ronnies' Sex Shop
Breakfast at 8:00 and check out of the wine estatel. We will then discover the unique beauty of the Klein Karoo (Little Karoo), travelling along the Route 62 to Oudtschoorn. Along the way we will stop for lunch at the iconic Ronnie's Sex Shop (lunch not included). We will then continue our journey to Oudtshoorn and check into the guest house in the afternoon. You will have time to freshen up and rest. Dinner in the guest house around 19:00.
Explore the Cango Caves and experience an up close and personal encounter with the largest bird – the ostrich
Breakfast at 8:00, then you will explore the world-famous Cango Caves, which are 4,500 million years old and are one of the Seven Wonders of South Africa and the largest caves in the country. We will then stop for lunch around 12:30 (lunch not included). You will then visit the first, oldest ostrich farm in the world and have an exciting encounter with the largest bird - the ostrich, the largest flightless bird, and learn about the important influence of this amazing bird on the town of Oudtshoorn and the ostrich industry feathers. You will have a special dinner and return to your guest house.
Cross Mount Outeniqua and discover the largest single arch bridge in Africa and fall asleep to the roar of lions
Breakfast at 8:00 am and departure from the guest house. You will then travel to cross the Outeniqua Mountains, named after the Outeniqua Khoikhoi tribe that lived there. We will stop for lunch around 12:30 (lunch not included). We will then take you to Bloukrans Bridge, the highest bungee jump bridge and the largest single-arch reinforced concrete bridge on the African continent. This unique architectural achievement rises 216 meters above the stunning gorge of the Bloukrans River. If you are brave enough, you can bungee jump (optional activity, not included). And we will then settle in a special and unique place surrounded by nature where you can hear lions roaring at night. Traditional dinner around 19:00.
Walk hand in trunk with Elephants, Forest Walk and picnic in the indigenous forest and Big Cats Guided Tour
Breakfast at 8:00. After breakfast you will enjoy a relaxed guided forest walk along the historical logging paths of the indigenous forest private reserve. You may spot the indigenous and rare stunning Knysna. You will have a picnic lunch in the secret forest glide and then you will head back to experience the indigenous wild cats of South Africa and learn all about the significant dangers they face today. And then you will have another unique experience, you will meet up close and personal the Elephants and have rare opportunity to walk trunk in hand with elephants and interact with the largest land mammal on earth. Then you will have dinner around 19:00.
Knysna Heads and Thesen Island Tour and Lunch at the Marina, travel to the Big 5 Private Game Reserve and afternoon guided Game Drive
Breakfast at 8:00am and check out. You will than travel to Knysna and enjoy the spectacular views of Knysna Heads view, and the beautiful Thesen Island, followed by lunch at the Knysna Marina (lunch not included). After Lunch you will travel to the the Big 5 Private Game Reserve and check in. Then in the afternoon you will enjoy a guided game drive with an experienced game ranger. You will have time to freshen up and have dinner at the game lodge around 19:00h.
Each game drive is guided by an experienced game ranger and is between 2 and 3 hours long, depending on the animal sightings and the weather conditions of the day. You will have the opportunity to look for the Big 5: Elephant, Lion, Leopard, Rhino and Buffalo, and if you are lucky you may spot the free roaming cheetahs. You will also have the chance to see a variety of antelopes like springbok – the national animal of South Africa, impalas, zebras, Gemsbok, and other indigenous for the Western Cape flora and fauna species.
Morning guided game drive, Post Office Tree and Bartolomeu Dias Museum visit in Mossel Bay, afternoon guided game drive
You will have an early start to the day with an early morning game drive in the reserve, followed by breakfast. After breakfast you will travel to Mossel Bay to visit the 500 year old post office tree, used by the early sailors to pass a messages to each other, and you will have the opportunity to send your very own letter to the sailors. You will then visit the Bartolomeo Díaz Museum, where you will see a life-size replica of Díaz's caravel that he sailed on when he first set foot in South Africa, followed by lunch around 13:00 (lunch not included). The Portuguese explorer made the first voyage around the tip of Africa in 1488 and made the first known European contact with the indigenous Khoi people in Mossel Bay. We will then return to the lodge and enjoy another afternoon game drive with a guide. Dinner around 19:00.
Morning Safari, travel to Hermanus, stop at Swellendam and 6-course dinner in an award-wining wine estate
You will have an early start to the day with your last early morning safari in the reserve, followed by breakfast. After breakfast you will travel to Hermanus and stop along the way to Swellendam for lunch (lunch not included). After you check in your accommodation you will have time to freshen up, and you will go for a special 6-course dinner (optional wine pairing for the dinner). Dinner around 19:00. After dinner you will return to the hotel.
Meet the Great White Sharks and Sunset Cruise in Walker Bay
You will have an early start of the day and we will than take you to meet the Great White Sharks. After you arrive in Kleinbaai you will have hot cup of coffee and a nutritious breakfast. You will be then have to opportunity to meet up close and personal with these magnificent ocean creatures. You will observe them from the board of the vessel and if you dare you can dive with the them in a custom built shark diving cage. After lunch you will be transferred back to Hermanus in the afternoon and you will enjoy a Sunset Cruise and sail along the coast of Walker Bay. You will learn about the historic sights of Hermanus, and the marine life that you will encounter. You will often see cape fur seals, colonies of penguins and if you are lucky you may see dolphins and even bridal whales or Southern Right Whales. However this largely depends on the time of the year and the weather conditions. During the trip you will enjoy a glass of sparkling wine, light beverages and tapas, while enjoying Hermanus and the unabstracted captivating beautiful sunset over the horizon. And if you get cold , there are blankets available as well as a covered outside sitting area and the option to sit inside the saloon. You will return to the harbour shortly after sunset. Then you will have dinner. (Dinner is not included). After dinner you will return to the hotel.
Tour of Hermanus, one last shopping trip and transfer to Cape Town International Airport
Breakfast at 8:00 and check-out of the hotel. After breakfast you will head for short tour of Hermanus and one last shopping trip. Hermanus is well known for its gourmet restaurants, boutique shops and art galleries, and is one of the major breeding grounds for southern right whales during the Whale Season between May/June and December. This popular coastal town has possibly the best land-based whale watching in the world. The animals can be clearly seen from a scenic cliff-top walk. We will then take you to Cape Town International Airport. End of tour.
